ok well tonight was a huge sucess thanks to everyone who showed up.. i havent seen that many people in a long time...

now teh party got shut down at about 1pm due to some rude shit.. seems like the tobacco people who go out every night and give out free cigarettes fucked shit up.. there was a complaint made by someone affiliated with the tobacco people that to many fake ids have been scanned at the house of brews.. im not sure how that works but indeed the cops said it was due to a complaint of 20-30 fake id's...
and rumor has it that the tobacco pedler was heard saying that he thought the place was going to get raided or some shit..

so the cops showed up with like 5 cars and a ambulance and bluffed the management and the decision was to shut down the event.. now i got 101 arguments for why that is wrong but what can i do.. im sure if the bar manager had stood up to them, the cops would have done something to get there point accross...

so as of tonight i dont know whats going on with future events at that venue..

if you are buddies with anyone who promotes any type of club or bar.. get the word out.. get these tobacco pedlers out of our clubs becuase i think this is going to happen alot more.. i also think this has something to do with the major break in at the department of motor vehicles.. if you havent heard some cazy muffucker drove a truck into the dmv and stole all the id printing machines and something like 1700 fake id's and laminates... so the cops are going to be cracking down on venues all over town.. i hope im wrong about all this and this was a isolated incident but it never hurts to let people know that by letting these tobacco pushers in your club you have someone there basically takeing a picture of everyones id and storing them in some coperate office somewhere..

I can't say I blame the cigarette people because when they pull the IDs and add them to there database if they are giving cigarettes to underagers because they should be of age and are not they could get in alot of trouble as well. So they might be covering there own ass, and they might be plants also because they do get copies of everyone's ids and could work with law enforcement to look for fake ids and techniques, either way they where covering there own ass as well.

The bar is at fault for not checking IDs properly, but those guys are dicks for pointing it out. However I bet they took shit for it also, for taking so many fake ids.

Damn that sucks, i hope tonedef continues, now that i'm finally moving down the street.

so i dunno ill call up the bar on friday ans see whats going down...

the cops had no right to close the place down.. in fact what they did is a big no no but if the bar has stood up to them they would have done things by the book... now last night there were not a bunch of kids in there with fake id's but i had some doubts about those college frat girls they seem to be attracting so i dunno...

the place is also trying to hella compete with other college bars in the area and just like the rave scene people get jealous and try to fuck up the competition...

when they dont get enough people to get cigs they have a duffle bag full of hundreds of fake ids (i have seen them myself) that they scan so they can make there money then they take the cigs that they didnt give to anyone cause those were there ids they used pretending to give out that many cigs and then they sell cartons for ten bucks!!!!
yes they explaned this to me when they showed me the duffle bag of ids they told me shhhhhh and i got an extra 3 packs of cigs cause i said i wouldnt tell there secret.........
