This apply's to any dj looking to reord their music at home to their computer. I have uploaded N-Track Studio w/Crack to my website and im posting it here for you all to download. This programs is bad ass !!! You can divide up the tracks on your mix so it's not one constant song, edit sounds, add effects and much much more. Here is a screen shot so you all can see what it looks like.

Nice program. I just use sound forge and then save a template in NERO to break it into tracks. Whatever works for the individual.

Im old fashioned. A real live preformance has to be just that, live. Adding effects and sounds after the fact is cheating... But that is just my opinion.

Personally I use Audacity because it is basic and it has excellent sound quality. Im not a fan of effects either believe me, I just wanted to post it for free download for those that do like them. (DJM-600 Junkies)

Here is my personal fav one that I use if anyone wants it also.

I have read of your disdain for Pioneer mixers. I don’t think there is anything wrong with using effects in a live mix. I have used DJMs and Kaos pads during live preformances in the past.

I don’t think I communicated what I meant very well. I meant that some people add or change their mixes and mean to make it sound like they did it live. I know that there are some mixes that were never meant to be live. If I recall correctly many major DJs will digitally mix their sets for CD, nothing wrong with that. Just like Oakenfold did for “Tranceport.” Or when PVD did the 2 ‘Politics of dancing’ CDs. To me that is not them really mixing as much as digital arranging.

I just meant that it is cheating to manipulate the recordings after the fact. I have listened to where people have spliced tracks, layered in backgrounds and even added in cheering crowds. Trying to lead people to believe that it was all live...

But, I have drifted way off point. I have seen this program in action and it is pretty slick. Well worth checking it out since QS went to the effort of putting it up here for everyone.
