I checked this out when you posted it up onto UTRave.org. It's definitely interesting and techy, cool bleeps and blips, however i didnt really hear anything that made me tilt my head.
I think you came out to a party in SLC back in 99 called "where the wild things are" at a skating rink, I'm pretty sure it was you at least.

Thanks for checking out the mix, the sound is not for everyone!
Yes, I did play at "Where the Wild Things Are" in 99, I have not played there since the Olympic party in 02.... It's good to see that 10 years after I first played SLC the local scene and DJ's are still going strong.. Keep up the good work! :-)

Yes the scene here in SLC is still going strong despite the setbacks weve had (versus 2, etc)
Man I remember while I was watching you lay down some dark shit at that party some naked hippy with glo-paint all over his body and shit in his dreaddies walked up to me and broke a giant mango over his knee and gave me half of it in front of that little stage. Strange memories man that was one crazy freakin party

Ya, I remember something about a naked person and paint! Do you know if Dan & Lisa still do events? What about Nebula is he still around?
I have not talked with him in a good two years or so..
I heard about the crazy happenings recently, I was sorry to hear it because I know how hard you guys work to make your scene work. I always prop the kids and promoters in SLC when asked for being one of the best vibe's regardless of the size of the party...
Hope you had a merry Christmas, hope you have a happy new year!

Dan and Lisa don't throw parties anymore. They quit a few years back and I'm not even sure what theyre up to now. And yes I know Christian (Nebula) he is still around though I think he is bouncing around from the east coast and back to here pretty regularly.

If you see Christian Tell him hello for me.. If you ever make it out here to LA to play or for leisure be sure to look me up, it would be cool to meet you... Who knows maybe I will make back to the SLC someday soon....

Merlyn - Okay, I know you're a down guy and all. I remember hearing you tear shit up in the early days of rave in San Diego and it was phenomenal. I'm not sure what happened. But your latest mixes are... well... Let's just say that I'm not sure what to think. Maybe that's the feel you're going for, which I can totally understand and respect. But for some reason, it just doesn't click. The tracks are groovin' but not all that fluid. Nonetheless, I give you props for staying true to the music and being truly original in your sound.

Namaste - I appreciate your continued interest, and the fact that you take a chance on listening after not being completely satisfied with a previous mix (that is old school). all I can say is "You win some, you lose some".
Now I will admit these mixes are not as fluid as say one of the old solid trance tapes from the mid 90's Romperoom days, but they were never meant to be. I am really really into techno and always have been, you have to find creative ways to give the crowd techno in a world where trance and progressive rule!

Thanks for the pm. I completely understand where your coming from. I certainly meant no disrespect. It's just alot different than what I used to hear you play and since I haven't heard you live in years. Well, I guess the only impression I had of what you're up to is by your mix.
Keep those beats coming and much respect for staying true to your sound.
