I am from the deserts outside Santa Fe, New Mexico. I began going to desert and warehouse parties back in the very early 90’s. I have played all over the southwest including Colorado, Arizona, California and New Mexico. I believe that music is ever evolving and a DJ should be also. I am all about the music and I know that most of the people that know me well can vouch for that. I am more eclectic then most DJs and I am not afraid to do whatever it takes to get the crowd involved when I play. It’s all about having fun and having a memorable set, on many levels.

Born and raised in San Francisco, Les Paul started his music career in a strong family built environment with a foundation based solely on the education of Art and Music. He is an avidly inclined artist and naturally accustomed to sound surrounding him everyday.

Through his family’s support and steady influence he began to learn and play the drums at the ripe early age of four. The heaviest musical influence in becoming a DJ, began at the age of Eleven from all the 80’s Rock, Electronic/Disco, and Hip Hop influence that was both on the radio and television. It was also heavily motivated by his Grandmother when she began a routine of taking him around with her to deliver Mary Kay - one of her most steadiest clients was the mother of Richard “Q BERT” Quittevis and he got the priviledge of after church or school; being able to spend several hours snooping and hanging around while he was practicing his routines for DJ Battles and Competitions.

It wasn’t until midway into high school that Les Paul, himself would pick up set of turntables. There at his high school was student radio station in which he attended known as 90.5 KVHS with a teacher by the name of Mr. Wilson. Because he is a Youthfully, Mixed-Ethnicity Male he does not want his music to get labeled and/or categorized. He has spent several years practicing and competing in Local and Statewide DJ Battles, Competitions at Guitar Center, Amoeba, Hip Hop Shops or at friends garages and rooms. Scratching, Beat Juggling, and Mixing any record he could get his hands on. He has played as well as performed live with LIVE Bands and other Musicians as well.

His early gigs in the scene were at Club Access, Cadillac Ranch, DV8, SoundFactory, City Nights, and small dive bars around the world. One in particular was known as Lindy’s Bar & Grill, playing funky deep house, breaks and dnb. With gift for the manipulation of the drums into what is known as rare slightly jazz syncopated rhythm with light harmonious horns and flutes that are carried along by melodic bass riffs and reverberating vibratons.

His most recent performances were at almost every club in San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area, including Northern and Southern California (i.e.The Gallery Lounge, BUTTER SF, Café Essaouira, Luna Lounge, Levende, Element Lounge, WISH SF, Sublounge, Blush Lounge in Burlingame and the infamous 52 Mason). He is well known for many of his underground and commercial events like HAPPY DAZE and ULTRABLEND.

He’s opened up for Fatboy Slim (AstralWerks), as well as played with others i.e. like:
Michael Anthony & the Late Night Sneaky, Kwai Le Chief, Dimitri Mykonos, Frenchy Le Freak, DJ DAN, DJ DENISE, Thomas Trouble (T&J Factory), and UFO! (Phylum Recordings).

He is currently working on projects with Lauren Whistler aka Missao (Source4), Bryan De Leon (RemixCulture/Journees Music), Mike Atallah (Collage Music), and Arlee B (Sanctioned Records) and many more soon to be announced.

Started raving the summer of 1992 at some warehouse rave in Kowloon, Hong Kong. Came back stateside and got involved with the SoCal Rave Scene. Assisted in promotion and production for numerous parties and clubs in LA and San Diego. Found my passion a few years later in spinning chemical breaks/old-skool hardcore breaks. First major gig: opening for TCM at Club Utopia in 1996 (also where I discovered the Vegas scene). Held residencies at: Opulence (NOLA), Pure (SD), Club Montage (SD), Equinox Music (SD), Big Butt Productions (SD), Shiva Studios (SD), Other World Entertainment (LA), Capricorn Entertainment (LA), various raves. Why I'm here:

At first glance, Raymond Nichols, a born and bred metro-Detroiter, looks more like a club bouncer than a DJ. Although bouncing in Detroit led to his first exposure to electronic dance music, a passion for music and performing in front of a crowd fueled his desire to become a DJ.
Raymond Nichols grew up in a musically talented household where his parents encouraged him to learn several instruments, namely guitar and trumpet. Additionally, his experiences in drum corps in high school proved to be invaluable when he bared his emotions in his solo performances and felt the rush of performing in front of thousands of people. Inevitably, this skilled musician quickly mastered the techniques of DJ-ing and created his own style without any instruction or guidance.
Three months after he bought his first pair of turntables in 2000, a Detroit promoter booked him at the Motor Lounge in Detroit. Early on he captured the ability to read the crowd and he took them on journey as they grooved to his tribal and techno sets. Raymond Nichols’ talent and ambition quickly earned him recognition from other DJs and launched his career as a guest DJ for other clubs in metro-Detroit and Canada such as Clutch Cargos, Heat, Club Divine, Tiki Bobs, and Club O.
After honing his deck technique, he landed a residency at Necto in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He continues to gain recognition and pursues perfection in his mixes as crowds are impressed with his clean sets and the flow of energy in his music. Combined with his natural ability, versatility, and love of performing, he has proven to be a step ahead from others in his field because he is truly an entertainer.
In 2005, Raymond Nichols moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and between his career and DJ-ing, he concentrates his efforts on producing music. This rising talent’s future appears limitless as he sets his eyes on rocking dance floors all over Las Vegas and abroad.

Began playing in 2000, with influences from Bad Boy Bill, Donald Glaude, and Richard Vission. After a few years in the rave scene, Dysfunkshun moved to Seattle in February of 2004 to get more into clubs, taking over residency at Mantra Lounge in June. Running the night and being the main resident until February of 2005, Dysfunkshun was able to play alongside DJ's such as Joey Mazzola, Mike Balance, Charles Feelgood, and even the man who originally got him into house, Donald Glaude. Dysfunkshun moved into a rotating residency at Last Supper Club and Watertown, and was granted with an chance to open for Kid Icarus and Bryan Cox. In September, he and crew Quikspin Productions, took over residency at Trinity in September of 2005, running until February of 2006, before the crew broke up. Dysfunkshun then moved to Las Vegas in April of 2006, and is now on the lookout to spread his house love with a new town!

Marzetti (Real name Jason Marzetti aka Dj Xu) began DJ’ing at age 12. Marzetti’s foundation of Techno and Acid Techno was soon built upon by Dub, Garage and now topped with the flavors of Electro, Funky & Progressive House. By age 14 he founded Houseunderground Productions, throwing small underground parties going by the name “Mission”. By age 18 he had the privilege of performing numerous local parties as well as at major centers across North America (Including Hawaii). With a history of learning musical theory & playing piano at a younger age, it wasn’t long before he picked up producing.

Currently at age 25, he’s produced for Equal Records in Italy (home of popular artists like Luis Radio, Danny 'Buddah' Morales' and many others), where he released a remix for Equal on the single 'Luis Radio feat Mijan - Because of You' in 2005. More productions include “Marzetti – I’m Just A Dj” out on Sovereign House Records which featured remixes by Keepers Of Melody, Sergio Matina & Black Shine. He has also remixed Cristian Paduraru’s “Emotion Comes From Motion” & Sergio Matina Presents The Monkey Brothers “The Deep Piano”. His productions also receive support from the likes of Sergio Matina (Sheeva, SHR, Tendenzia), Workidz (Disco Galaxy, Toolroom) & Hirshee (Blow Media, Gossip).

Just realized i probably should have origionally posted this here...


First off i'd like ta give some mad Luv to the local promoters, Dj's , Producers, Club owners, club goers, and EDM fans! I've just recently re-located to the L.V. area, by way of my hometown Detroit, MI... I've been involved in the EDM scene in Detroit for the past number of years growing up and playing with the likes of theo parish, aux88, mike clark, terrence parker, juan atkins, richie hawtin, derrik may, Blake jarrell, Robbie Rivera, etc; in some of the best underground and mainstream clubs in the city(bio attached below).. All things aside, after spending a month and a half or so, poking in on Ebeats, i figured now was a better time than ever to introduce myself! Personally i've been spinning house/electro/progressive and minimal for close to ten years, and am excited to hopefully add some more quality parties to the LV area... Look for future events with Paxahau/ Cratesavers/ and Submerge artists as well as more international/underground house, minimal and techno acts.. What more can one ask for when going to see their favorite DJ other then energy, consistency, and a great taste in beats? A level of showmanship unrivaled by any other current ciruit DJ, and a personality larger than life itself to match...



Origionally from the city of Detroit, J. was first introduced to the sounds of electronic music at an early age. As an extremely talented and versatile musician, he majored in nearly 20 different instruments out of highschool. Along the road of his musical endevors, which include his attendance at the Interlochen arts academy, a stint with the international israeli youth symphony, and countless hours of one-on-one time with some of the worlds most notable composers, artists, and professors, J. spent much of his time studying genres such as jazz, classical, blues,rock, funk,and orchestral compositions, before falling in love with his electronic ounterpart. At the age of 13, J. landed a job with a well know local DJ company playing all types of parties and venues. Instantly falling in love with the art; However, confused with what to do with all of his musical training, he discovered that he could use the influence of others music and his passion for music as a whole, to put his own flavor on whatever sounds were coming off his tables. During this period of time he became fixated on owning his own decks.

In the fall of 98', J. was introduced to the distinct sounds and styles of such artists as Derrick May, Terrence Parker, Richie Hawtin, Dimitri from Paris, DJ sneak and many other house music pillars; Igniting the flame of passion he has for house and electronic music. After spending years of polishing and tweaking his techniques and styles, J. has only just begun to hone in on his amazing capabilities and flare for EDM. His musical journeys are sure to take you on a soulful, beat-driven exotic journey around the globe of house music and back, and his over the top stage presence can engulf the largest dancefloors in the world!

Well known, in the Detroit Club circuit for his heart-pounding, emotion infused underground mix CD's, J. has many surprises and tricks up his sleeve and is taking the world by storm.
