I have a little question. Which programs are best to use for burning mixed cd with split tracks together? I have used a Roxio program and it does it's job, theres no splits but it does have a little jump in sound.
any recomendations on which programs are best?
Thanx.

i use itunes and it seems to work fine for me. just make sure that the tracks you are putting onto a cd are in wav format. doing so with mp3 format will create the gaps when the track you are listening to transitions into the next track. hope this helps any.

Actually most high quality burning programs you can select how much pause you want between tracks if any at all. I use Nero and it gives me this ability with mp3 or wav.
Also if a .cue file is included, you can load this file in Nero and other audio burning applications and it will make all the tracks for you correctly.
If you still have a small audio skip it is because of the digital recording. You could load up the files in soundforge and clean up the beginning/ends.

the recording is clear, maybe i should re-split tracks. By the way it's the Electrodome mix i posted in the Mix section.

Actually with nero you can load the full .wav file then use the Nero audio editor to set cue markers for each track...
Another way is to read up on .cue files. They allow you to split a full .mp3 or .wav file without splitting the files individually. This keeps your file in a full mix mode but can be burned as seperate tracks if you use the .cue file.
That is how I did my bangetti & hardballs mix, check it out for a sample of a .cue file. It is nothing more than a text file.

it doesnt matter what program u use, just make sure your tracks are wavs and not mp3. even if u select no pause in between tracks, if its an mp3 u will still get that jump. but them all as wavs and there will no problem

I build a cue file from the mp3 of the full mix and then burn as an image. Doesn't really matter what you use.

Actually the little gap only happens when you string .mp3s together. I saved my last split up mix as individual .wavs then burned it up. There is no break in between tracks.
But yeah, .cue files are good for mp3 burning.

nero was the best till v8
I would suggest Ashampoo suite, no bloat, very feature rich.
