Wow... That's pretty blatant. However... I bet that would pass US copyright laws.

The Tiesto crew definitely made some significant changes but there is no doubt that it's the same melody.

I dunno if I would call that plagiarism, but it's definitely in bad taste.

no way this guy would have a case, its close but there have been so many cases and no one really wins. Even when they sounded almost exact (vanilla Ice/Queen)... I can understand why he is frusterated because he already sent the track to Tiesto, now hears something close to it a couple years later.

My thoughts on this: Tiesto blows, and this guy wants to blow Tiesto. Not only does he want to blow Tiesto, he will not be satisfied unless Tiesto enjoys it or wants to do ass to mouth.

I think both versions of the song suck but this kind of crap happens daily and not just in the music world. It's just a part of life.

I agree with most people, the song is very generic and therefore has no copyright-able melody like very few of the trance songs today.
