I've always wished I had the funds to be able to throw a 'core party (hard, happy, terror, speed, etc etc) and get some of my friends in NorCal down here to play, but the money's hard to get by and not knowing the regulations of throwing a party, it's a difficult concept. Hmm. I'd be down for a 'core party here, and I'd definitely be down to help if it ever happens. But yea. Blah blah blah =\

Also, look in the 'core forum. Chrisskippah (err, Cloudskipper) is seeling some of his recs as well.
