if people show
the scene will grow...
its the "money changes everything" principle...if theres not a market then the companies go away...

When people cut down with the complaining, and trying to find a reason to make everything bad, then maybe the scene will become better. :P

im SURE there are plenty of people here as well .... but do we want people or underground? im sick of these haters holding up the walls bitching about the music and the dancers hating on the way people dress and shit.... we need everbody who loves the music to come out to each event and suport THE MUSIC. if you build it they will come type shit... and maybe throw together a couple more partie crews... take some of the pressure off chad :D

thats exactly right, the more parties there are the better scene. i recently moved here from florida and also have thrown pretty large scale parties and would like to do the same here. the only problem that i encounter is getting the feel of what people dig out here. i am very interested in throwing a pretty big scale party here in vegas in the next few months. vegas is such a big city and its a shame the scene isnt not up to par so it comes down to us to make it happen.
peace and im out,
buddah

I thin the problem is lack of unity,a divided and segregated scene and people just being tired and jaded. When you get a bunch of people who have "been there and done that" it's hard to impress them because they know everything, they know all about the different genres and they've been to so many parties where there were big lights and visuals plus amazing sound systems that they've come to expect alot. And when they don't get that they get dissappointed not to mention "lack of a vibe" I've learned that you can't depend on other people to make the party fun for you.You have to decide for yourself, the party crew just sets up the event, and the DJ just spins the music the rest is all up to the people wether or not to make the party fun. I think the solution is to start all over again from scratch, going out and exposing new, fresh people onto electronic music,or converts if you will.because then they will see how great electronic music is and then will in turn get more new people into the rave scene.I think the future of the rave scene is in the spirit of the newcomers

well said acid. Although I feel bad for the people who live in vegas and decide that they wanna rave, its hard to have a younger generation to keep a scene goin, when the closest one we have is cali :T If only we could take them to back in the china town raves day XD *sighs* oh well.

thats cool your putting up that info for the atlanta parties but I don't think anyone is about to jump up and drive out to the midwest for a party even though I heard some good and bad things about the midwest rave scene,it's way too far

all I know is that I'm interested in organizing tish over there for everyone. get the scene rollin' again. I know I could do it with the unification of all the rave crews out there in that area. we need more unity. california's rave scene is dying as well and it shouldn't be who has be biggest lights or the biggest sound...it should be who can bring the best music in an open area without worying about it ending and just dancing. visuals are cool but they shouldn't make a party, I know they never did out here, at least at the parties my friends threw. it was all about making it happen, getting the people there and getting the music to the fans.

i'll be in town untill august 20, if the party goes down before then, i would be happy to help out in any way possible. I would love to see the scene in las vegas spraw up a lil bit.. Everything is going too commercial these days. We need to change that and bringon a movement that cannot be stopped. We must not be afraid to press our vision upon others. We must only be afraid of the vision others try to press unto us. Banded together we can bring it back.

lol, I don't think I'll even be out there by august 20th...but we'll see what happens. it usually takes a minimum 2 months to get things set up but that doesn't mean multiple parties in a row can't be planned.
