Let me rephrase the question because I am unsure if I understand it right.
"If you force somebody to love you, is their love for you 'real'."

From a purely logical perspective, the means for this creation of love is irrelevant if the outcome is exactly the same. So whether someone loves (or even hates for that matter) you out of force or choice, the emotion still exists.

Maybe a definition of love will help you here.

A deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, such as that arising from kinship, recognition of attractive qualities, or a sense of underlying oneness.
A feeling of intense desire and attraction toward a person with whom one is disposed to make a pair; the emotion of sex and romance.

Sexual passion.
Sexual intercourse.
A love affair.
An intense emotional attachment, as for a pet or treasured object.
A person who is the object of deep or intense affection or attraction; beloved. Often used as a term of endearment.
An expression of one's affection: Send him my love.

A strong predilection or enthusiasm: a love of language.
The object of such an enthusiasm: The outdoors is her greatest love.
Love Mythology. Eros or Cupid.
often Love Christianity. Charity.
Sports. A zero score in tennis.

Point made.

good points made i have to say and agree to j dolla and kevin ! i'll add that on to the comments ! i myself already know that love can't be forced in any way because that would make it false ! love is something that eventually grows on someone can't really be forced on it wouldn't mean much anyways if it had no foundation if you guys know what i mean by that ! thanks anyways for your comments ! ^_^

There are just too many different forms of it...

You can have 1-directional love for a person. like you LOVE who that person is, and what they stand for. I think they should create a new term for people that connect in 2-way directional love. Because that shit HARDLY EVER LASTS. most relationships, which both people go "omg im so in love" usually ends in them hating each other. That is not LOVE if you ask me.

Love is ETERNAL. and lasts forever, reguardless of what happens. If the love is not eternal, then it's nothing more than infatuation/raging hormones.

I'd have to say that the whole "love that doesn't last was never love" concept makes a lot of sense... Although, another way I can see love is like this... You "loving" someone you've known for years, and them loving you. After it's over, you still love them, but it's like, "I love you as a friend" sort of thing... That makes me wonder if the love ever shared between two people like that was ever a romantic love, or if was always a platonic love... ::ponderness::

i have to say that people who shared the love like you say special K would be romantic at first then when things don't work out it becomes platonic that's what i'm guessing that is how it is ! but then again it just depends mostly on how the relationship were before and also on the person !

God doesn't love people that don't use periods.

Forced Love is called POWER.

Power is the ability to get someone to do ANYTHING they wouldn't normally do. Like putting a period after every sentence just for God.
