Sojourn & Matteo's Underground Lounge Present:
RESONANCE
Smooth, intelligent sounds arranged in an atmosphere of cozy, speak-easy sophistication.
Currently confirmed lineup for Friday, September 24:

(additions tba - may potentially bump myself to make room for a couple of tentative newcomers that will make for a very full, multi-flavored night)
ALSO: This month we may again attempt to organize an 'intelligent MC session' (i.e. introspective, upright, forward-moving lyrics), and/or perhaps even 'competition' - i.e. not necessarily "battle" or ripping down those in the comp to be recognized, but rather who can provide the most progressive, mystical and uplifting vibe of the night over the backdrop of liquid, atmospheric, and break beats. ...basically a connection or intermediary between the DJs and the spectators, based on actual content and control, and rooted in progessive and feel-good hip-hop motivations and movements. (If you've ever heard Conrad, DRS, Deeizm - or other various futurism founded Lyricists from labels other than GLO - then you know what is referred to here, and preferred to hear.)
Whether you are a local budding talent looking to switch up styles based on grace and skill; or a bedroom-pretender looking to strike a sophisticated mark, we and all who listen want you out. This event will - again - be No Cover (but again, Door and DJ donations gladly accepted from generous, supportives)
