ok so... as most of you have probly already guessed by now we are using the fort cheyenne for groove is in the heart... well we know there has been a little gripe here and there about it being played out and well this is nothing new in the world of venues.. from the cande factore to the track.. everyone complains about something and when its gone.. they talk about how they miss the old venues..

ok well the reason im bringing this up is simple.. we have a good thing with the fort cheyenne.. plain and simple.. we hope you will continue to support our events not for the location but for what wo do to the inside for every event..

this event will be like none other as we will be using the middle room at the fort cheyenne in conjunction with the back room you all seen at dk7... so the main area is the room we used for "switch" "blend decible" and some network events... and for the jungle room weve decided to use what was the main room at
"dk7 and "storm"

this will greatly improve the size of each area and it will give people plenty of room to breath..

so like i said we need to all work together and not worry about the physical location and clebrate all the effort that goes into each and every event..

we finally have more than on crew in this town and unfortunalty we all have to use the same venue but the good thing is we all have diferent styles and that keeps the parties fresh...

you know from almost 8 years experince awol will never let ya down... were doing our hardest to transport a dank room into memories.. and we strive to make each and every event bigger and better..

BTW, I talked to Jeff (Simply Jeff) and he told me that he couldnt say where the party was going to be held at, that info will be released on Friday, but he did say that the venue is 100% secure and legit.

Since nobody is saying where it is going to be at, can you at least say if the venue has been used before? With it being so secretive, I am almost ready to think that the venue is not legit and 100% secure. I have been to to many undergrounds, and supposed to be legit and secure venues/parties that have been busted and shut down within the first few hours up here in the bay area (CA) and southern cali than I can count. I just would hate to see all of the DJ's that are supposed to spin not be able to because the party got shut down early due to the venue not being legit.

I love undergrounds just as much as the next person, but when you have big names like Thee-O, and Nuclear Hyde, not to mention Dyloot, Tom, and Mars, I would like to have the added feeling that the party will not get shut down early.

Whenever the SKILLS crew throws an event up here in Northern Cali, the event goes off flawless, always a great show, set up, sound, lighting, and of course, the added security that they anounce the venue way in advance to show that it is legit. When ever there is a SKILLS party, you can count on a great party, and that it will not get shut down.

want to talk about party of the year, try All Together in L.A., Super Duper Sci-Fi by the SKILLS crew at the Bill Grahm Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, I know this doesnt really apply to raves or the usuall "raver", but the anual Pimp N Ho costume party in Las Vegas,





wooaahh, sorry, after mentioning the above, I had flashbacks of Pimp N Ho, anywayz, and many of other huge "massives", I know this event is not going to be comparible to the above, but it will be lots of fun, and in my opinion, 600 or so people is not a massive, maybe in Vegas. . . .
