My girlfriend asked me to let her give it a whirl behind the decks last week, and of course, she got hooked like a teenage girl on speed. Anyway, she bought some breaks records and I was playing around with them and found that I can actually mix breaks and proggy together...I think my sets are going to get much more interesting...Just wanted to share my newfound discovery cause I'm excited.....Peace all!

Prog and breaks has gotten a little overplayed to me.
Unless you truly do it right...it sounds horrible.

Yeah, I agree, it's gotta be a nice, smooth mix otherwise it sounds like shit. But when you hit it right...AWWWW YEAH BABY!!!!

I was listening to John Kelley's Funky Desert Beaks 2 today, is it just me or did he trainwreck excessively in that set? Not to talk shit on his skillz or anything, cause I know he's bomb (after Jay told me who he was, lol, thanks Jay!). Just an observation while listening and learning... ^:?
